About George E. Clark

George has been in business since 1979 and by operating his own accounting practice has a deep understanding of what a business owner experiences.  He has hundreds of small business clients, and his extensive accounting knowledge is available to assist you in keeping your business safe and compliant.

George was born in Innsbruck, Austria in 1948.  His father served overseas in the US Army so he traveled and lived abroad as a youth.  He earned a BA from the University of Georgia in 1970 and went on to serve as an officer in the United States Army in airborne artillery.  Upon completion of his duty, he continued his education at Georgia State University and earned the degree of Master of Professional Accountancy in 1975.  He worked for a national accounting firm until deciding to go into private practice in 1979.

After starting with two clients in 1979, his practice has grown to over 1,000 clients, with over 300 business clients being serviced by two Atlanta area offices and more than twelve staff.  He has been a resident of Sandy Springs for 15 years with his wife Jannyne and their three daughters, Kathryn, Michelle, and Alison.  Two older daughters, Christy, Wendy, and their families also reside in the Atlanta area.
